I am hesitant about self-nomination, but others have pulled it off and itís been pointed out that threads awards are group awards a tribute to the people who have participated. I think Sonia Soltomayor will be confirmed, though I am not sure by how Much. Due to the number of replies Ė over 200 from all over the political spectrum, and the fact that there has yet to be a mod note to cool things down, I think this thread deserves consideration. Long after individual cases are decided, Sotomayor will most likely be on the court.

I nominate my own thread:
Obamaís Choice for Supreme Court: Judge Sonia Sotomayor

Note: The nomination of a Supreme Court justice is one of, if not the, most lasting and important things a president can do. I got lucky and picked up the story when The Washington Post announced it. If I hadnít started this thread, someone else probably would have within an hour or possibly even minutes.
