VDemosthenes
It's been about a year since this game has been played and I am curious to see the results. The original game may be viewed here.

Cyan explained the rules best, so I shall now be quiet:

QUOTE
The game involves our political leanings, because while a person may view themselves in one way, another member of the the site may view them entirely differently.

QUOTE
The way it will work is that anyone who replies to this thread will post what they feel the political leaning is of the person who last posted in the thread. I don't care if you use only the left/right axis or if you include the north/south axis, but make sure that you clarify. This may produce some interesting results....and please keep it civil, because it's supposed to be fun.

See? I told you she could explain it better than I could.

With all that said: let the game begin.

Victoria Silverwolf
VDemosthenes is a little hard to pin down. I think the self-description as "very conservative" is misleading. What I sense is someone who is moderately conservative on social issues with a strong mixture of libertarianism. Somewhere between a moderate Republican and a conservative Republican, I think, but one who would consider voting for a conservative Democrat.
BoF
Victoria Silverwolf has pretty much defined herself as anti-death penalty, pro-total separation of church and state, personally non-religious, vegitarian, etc. Very liberal fits, but one could argue for a slightly more moderate place on the spectrum.
doomed_planet
BoF strikes me as the type of person who looks at the content of a person's
character, as opposed to the party he affiliates himself with.

I like the cats on the avatar - another clue that we are dealing with a very
soft and kind-hearted man. Perhaps he is the type of person who would
stop on the side of the road to help a person with a flat tire.

To sum it up, I'll say a liberal and fair-minded individual, who exerts a lot
of common sense when making decisions.

Am I close?
ConservPat
DoomedPlanet is an independent, leaning libertarian who seems to look at each issue without any political dogma to guide her...The definition of an independent.

Jaime
Ah, ConservPat - like me, has evolved in his political philosophy since joining AD. Your early posts often towed the GOP line of thinking. Over time you have developed a strong sense of civil liberties and therefore, moved away from party thinking and more towards a loose libertarian-conservative leaning. You champion civil liberties and also show a concern for the preservation of the Constitution's ideals.

Good luck to whoever tries to peg me. It's been too long since I've debated with you folks and I have sure changed since I first started this place. flowers.gif

I for one could not pass up the opportunity to fail at guessing Jaime's political loyalties.

Jaime brings a new definition to strict-Constitutionalist. She is moderately conservative in social issues and moderately liberal on economics. She believes laws should not be spur of the moment and is against activist judges. Strong in her convictions and unwavering in her Independent system of operation Jaime believes in the right to choose for all issues, regardless of who you are.

I fail, but I fail eloquently. flowers.gif thumbsup.gif innocent.gif zipped.gif

Rancid Uncle
VDemosthenes, another one of those conservative libertarian republicans. Whatever that means. It seems like VDemosthenes just thinks about the issue and uses logic or common sense to arrive at an answer. VDemosthenes lists Friedrich Nietzsche as a favorite author, that's pretty conservative.
Just Leave me Alone!
Rancid Uncle is a "stick it to the man" at all costs liberal. I detect a strong desire from him to give the finger to most if not all forms of corporate type power. Need someone to join in on a revolution? Call Rancid Uncle.
