So I was digging around at about 3:30 this morning, and I
think I may have found the first actual refence to America's Debate on a legitimate news site. If anyone knows of anything earlier, I would love to see it.

Rest stops: A few slices of America on the Web by Clayton Kale
From the article:
QUOTE
Healthy debate americasdebate.com One of the attributes that allowed our country to flourish is the free exchange of ideas. For political junkies and debate team wannabes, this slice of the Web will feel like home. Debate on message boards is often ruined by trolls, flamewars and name calling, but moderators do a good job of keeping the nonsense to a minimum. Some stats about America's Debate users: 79 percent are male; 31 percent claim no party affiliation, 23 percent claim to be Republicans, 17 percent claim to be Democrats. The remaining 29 percent are Independents, Libertarians, Socialists, Greens and Communists.
Thanks go out to all of the members and all of the staff for making AD such a great place, especially the debate team wannabes and the political junkies!
