Although this explosion probably isnt a major attack we continue to keep britian in our thoughts. this does not appear to be an alquaida attack thought us.gif

The IRA used to do this sort of attack: the idea then was to use minor explosions to cause maximum disruption and econimic strain without loss of life.

This looks to be something similar where by small explosions shut down much of central London.

Of course it could a hoax or it could be a failed attack (as a BBC source in London has implied)... The problem is though (as was just mentioned on BBC world) Scotland Yard is fully engaged and does not have the resources to spare in seperate investigations of this magnitude.

My money's on this being another AQ attempt that went wrong, which gives the security services a massive in to find out who's doing what and where. If this is the case, then we were very lucky indeed today.
