Rancid Uncle
George Carlin has been a very popular comedian over the last 30 years. Has his comedy raised the bar of what's offensive. Is he vulgar or is he funny or both?

I say he is the best comedian ever over the long term. He makes some great points about religion and life.

Funny, very funny when he isn't starring in a sitcom.

I love George Carlin. I think he is very funny. Do any of you recall when he was the Hippy Dippy Weather Man? Great stuff! tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Back in the day he was funny but I've moved passed him. I was watching him when I was twelve along with the jerky boy's and Denis Leary. By today's standard they are tame and offensive is only a state of mind. Bow down to Lewis Black and Eddy Izzard.

Limpubus, I love Eddie Izzard! He's my all time fave. I'm not familiar with Lewis Black, though. Is he similar in style?
