some of the newer people may not know me but I'm sure some on here remember me.

I figured I'd let you all know how I'm doing. working about 30 hours a week at a place called sanfords grub and pub. so not much free time lately. got my tongue pierced, going to get my labret and nose.



also I've got a daughter on the way. she's due in december. me and the mother aren't together and I'm seriously thinking about trying to get custody of the child soon after the birth. she doesn't work and hasn't since late march, and hasn't made an attempt to work. kind of leeches off of others. I've got a nearly full time job, my own place (more or less) and am in a much more stable position to raise a child. any advice on what to ask a lawyer would be welcomed.

Good to see you back, Timmy. I'm afraid I wouldn't have any specific advice to offer in terms of what to ask a lawyer. I'd just let him/her know that you're interested in pursuing a custody case and acquaint him/her with the facts of the case - and be brutally honest about both yourself and the mother. Anything in your own background will come out in such a case and it's best that your lawyer is aware of everything and prepared to address it.

I wondered where you'd gotten to. Congratulatiuons on your daughter. We just had a daughter 2 weeks ago. Its fantastic! I hope it all works out for you and the Mother.
