Can anyone help me out and answer this question: what is the
least populated US legislative district?
I'm sick of searching for this. I know someone out there has this information.
thanks!

Alaska, I believe. Only two reps in the state.

The question is a bit confusing. I'll clarify. There are a number of states that only send 1 rep. to the US congress each session (Alaska is one of them). However, that 1 rep. has a large number of constituents because s/he represents the whole state.
What I'm looking for is the district with the least number of people in it. So this district that I'm looking for may very well be in one of the most populated states. Does this make sense?

I have an answer, kinda. Follow this link:
http://www.census.gov/prod/www/abs/congprof.htmlIt has a list of every state and every district and the population of every district. . . .I just don't have the time to go through each one to determine which is the least. Pretty good research for a woman with only a third rate education, huh?
