Hi Everyone.
We spent some time this weekend doing a bit of cleaning and maintenance, and we figured it was enough to justify a small announcement.
- Archived posts.
Topics that had not had any new posts in the last 90 days have been moved to the appropriate archive forum. Several hundred topics were moved.
- Removed forum.
The Poverty and the Homeless forum has been permanently removed, and all of its topics have been moved to the archive. There were no new topics started-- or even a single posted reply-- in the last 90 days. Topics relating to poverty and the homeless should now be started in whichever forum is most appropriate, most likely Domestic Policy.
- Moved forum.
The Year in Review 04-05 forum has been moved to the archive. The "What I have learned/How my views have changed" topic has been moved to the Comments and Suggestions forum as a pinned topic.
- Removed members.
Members who registered 6 months ago or earlier who had never posted have been deleted. This took our total registered member count down to 2,330 from 2,838.
- New topic.
The original "How did you find America's Debate?" topic was started way back in November of 2002, and was definitely outdated. The new topic can be found here.
- Statistics report.
We have posted some statistics about America's Debate. You may read them here.
As always, feel free to start a topic in Comments and Suggestions if you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding this announcement.
Thanks!
Mike
