Strange question, huh? ermm.gif
I'm sure that everybody in this forum has at least one bowl in their respective refridgerators... What is in that bowl in your refridgerator, anyway? ohmy.gif

My bowl has leftover spaghetti and meatballs in it from last night's dinner. (Its always better the next day, isn't it?) happy.gif

I'm afraid to look in my bowls, there are probably entire civilizations in them!I might open one only to be eaten by IT!

Well now considering I dont like having the same thing two nights in a row and my wife still cooks like all the kids are at home. We have an abundance of mystery bowls in the fridge.

I have to add though that my wife took a hint from a joke off the net. When she asks me what I want for dinner I like most men tell her "Whatever", "Something" "Food" "Proteins and carbohydrates" Etc.

Now when I look in the freezer there are these plastic bags that say "Something", "Food", "Whatever" etc. on them...LOL

Back to the bowls back when I was single I was certain I had found the cure for cancer in one particularly rancid bowl I mad the mistake of opening. The girl I was dating smelled it upstairs and thought something had died in the vents or something it was quite funny.

My family always avoided the bowls because they were afraid of them. So I was always saving stuff, only to throw it away. (I used to have my first husband do this job because I was too afraid to touch them too!)

I solved the problem!

Instead of using the plastic storage containers, I bought glass storage bowls with plastic lids. (Martha Stewart selection at Kmart, guys!).

Now my family can actually see what's in the bowls and they actually take them out and pop them in the microwave!

What's in my bowls right now? Cuban Beef Stew -- an experiment that turned out great. Also various bowls with precut vegies the family can grab to snack on.

Stefan you are so right. Nothing tastes better than leftover spaghetti.
In our house we have had a few times some very interesting molds growing in the bowls. They get pushed to the back of the frig and forgotten.
I try now to put the leftovers in the front of the frig so that doesn't happen anymore. So far so good but I am sure we will have another sometime. ICK! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I think we've all had that mystery bowl in the back of the fridge that we're literally afraid to open. sour.gif If I suspect that the contents of a bowl have organized their own government, I have to throw away the whole thing without opening it. I just have no stomach for that sort of thing. sour.gif
