Some of you may remember me from way back when this site wasn't nearly as fancy as it is now... Back when there were only a few of us debating, breaking new ground with the heavily moderated style, and look at this now! Wow! Great job, Mike and Jamie! I always knew that AD would be a huge success.
It's been almost three years since I was here last, but I hope to get right back in and start debating again. So to those of you who've been around for awhile, hello again, and for those who are newer, I look forward to getting to know you.

It will be good to see you bringing your ideas here again. I tried tracking you down a few times without success.
You can give us some impressions of what is the same and what is different here at AD. I think there are some slight changes in content but your perspective would be interesting.

Far worse, if everything else that's happened so far under our current leadership is any indicator.

It's good to be back, and I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things very soon. For now, it seems that all the good horses have been beaten to death, at least until some hearings and trials start and the lurid details start pouring out. It'll also be interesting to hear what the president has to say in his SOTU address. I look forward to calling up AD Radio on January 31st and possibly going on about one or more pieces of the president's agenda for some indeterminate amount of time. (For goodness sake, interrupt me if I'm rambling, or if I repeat myself. 
)From what I see, AD has certainly gotten a lot bigger, but the important stuff (the civil format), has remained the same. It's easy to spin, it's tough to participate in a debate, and that's what this place is all about. I'm sure I'll be able to offer more detailed input after I've been around for some time again.
