I note that
Jaime, in particular, has a
very clear radio voice. I'm not knocking
Mike or any of the callers, who were just fine, but for some reason
Jaime came through like singing crystal.

Heh... that's what I have been telling her...! I've gone back and listened, and the only thing I can say is that I *will* improve in my hosting skills. For these first two shows, I have done virtually zero prepwork. I have spent all of my time setting up equipment and making sure everything will at least
work. During the shows, I've spent most of the time babysitting the equipment, trying to make sure everything sounds as good on your end as it does on ours.

The callers were all very articulate. There was very little "um" and "uh" as everyone expressed views in a thoughtful manner.
Agreed! Some of the callers say they were nervous, but I really think the hosts are more nervous than the callers.

I had no idea that
Amlord was supposed to be pronounced "ay-em-lord." I'll try to keep that it mind.
It's a conspiracy. He wants Jaime and I to adopt southern accents. Ay-em-lord, said fast, is how southerners would say Amlord. It's like "lets go over they-urr." As much as Amlord wishes it might could happen, I reckon it just won't.

Now, Vicki, let me ask you this: Got a phone?
