This thread is not directed at America directly, but it is inspired with the common perception in Europe that George W. Bush may be a greater over all threat to world stability than Saddam Hussein ever will be.

blink.gif Suspend your disbelief and imagine that the current leadership of your nation is working to a secret agenda which empowers their own vested interests without disturbing the apparent democratic status quo.

If US politians did not further their vested interests, they would be less astute than their European contemporaries...

European politians are just as, (if not more subtle about it) - guilty of furthering, "secret agendas which empower vested interests". The US is not alone. Perhaps a little more active, but...

The European's "critical stance" on the US and Iraqi ("conflict" is it?) empowers European politiansvested interests, just as US involvement serves our supposed leaders.

This criticism on the US is not a reflection of a higher morality, but a chess move in a power game.
