We'll you're right, it does look mighty coincidental.

But with the end of the Muslim Haj holiday, intelligence indicates an increased risk of an attack, and I think that is a realistic assesement.

Also, here in the US we've had some pretty large rallies, and there was not an overzealous police or military presence that I know of.
