Greetings all!

Ann Coulter made this claim in her book Treason, I think page 212: "The Democrats have a 60 year unblemished record of foreign policy failure." She goes on to qualify her statement by specifying "policies initiated by Democrat administrations."

So my question is this: Have there been any foreign policies initiated by Democrats since F.D.R. that have resulted in success?

And secondly; Does this indicate that Democrats fundamentally misunderstand the the way the world around them works?

I have discussed this with some of my friends, and we (in our limited brainpower) think Ann is correct. I also think that Democrats have a faulty world view. (your understanding of how the world around you works, the nature of man, and economics.)

But rather than comment more specifically now, I will wait for your comments first.

Reason: Question to debate too vague. It is nearly impossible to debate blanket generalizations, especially when they are cited from such inflammatory sources like Ann Coulter.
