I had a good time here but I won't be coming back because a thread I was participating in was locked. I respect the administrators right to do such a thing; however, it completely sent the message that the community associated with prostitution are not welcome to speak freely on this board. I believe I would have received a PM if they felt otherwise regardless of the need to lock the thread.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I enjoyed myself and I hope that you all have fun! There's a lot of great people on here, including the administrators, but this isn't the forum for a political issue that is important to many people I know and I will join them elsewhere in their search to speak out about their cause.

Perhaps you should reread Mike's closing post in that thread. It did no such thing. Maybe you would reconsider?

I apologize if the next to last post on that thread had insulted anyone and caused the lock down. As I explained it was not directed to anyone here.

More importantly it did seem to be a popular thread. Was it more a concern of thread length? If so can a new one be opened to let people continue to voice their opinions? Or did the admins/mods just see it as a ticking time-bomb and possible trouble?

Just wanna make sure before another one gets opened. I do respect the aministration of any board (although I don't always AGREE with them, I do respect them ).

I'm discussing it with the others that participated with me in the thread and we may decide to stay. We're considering our options.

Herc brought up some good questions and I'm interested in the answers - maybe I missunderstood why the thread was locked.

Some really great people have contacted me about staying and I've greatly appreciated their kindness.

Your input will be missed.

By no means have we said that we can never debate the legalization of prostitution again in the future.

Sometimes a cooling-off period is in order to allow us to reconfirm our arguments, and narrow the scope of the thread. Also A thread that was open that long with such a large gap from the time it was opened should have been closed long ago.

Heck, that thread was created before we even had rules.
