The usual good job, folks. I have to raise one highly controversial issue:
Grits.
No doubt your disdain for this food is based on experiencing it the way it is usually served; white, and filled with salt, butter, and so on.
Take this simple taste test:
1. Buy a box of Arrowhead Mills YELLOW corn grits.
2. Make it per the instructions on the box. Do not add any salt or any other ingredients.
I think you will find that this stuff tastes very good indeed, not bland at all. (After tasting, add whatever you like. I often add sharp cheddar cheese, onions, bell peppers, and hot sauce.)
I would recommend a glass of strong fruit juice, either orange or grapefruit just in case it isn't to your liking. Don't worry Jaime we'll help you get over this traumatic experience together!
