Iran Iran Iran Iran Iran scary scary evil scary evil nukes evil scary nukes Iran unstable Iran a threat Iran Iran Iran Iran evil mean scary evil Iran.... As you know, Iran is the flavour of the day when it comes to US foreign policy. The ironic yet sad fact of the matter is that Iran used to be America's friend much in the same way Iraq's Hussein was. So that got me wondering...Is the problem of Iran (though they're actually not a threat), the nukes and whatnot, happening solely because Iran isn't on the US's side anymore? In other words, in reference to Iran, is it because Iran is a serious threat to peace on the planet, or is it because they are no longer under the thumb (or a sattelite state) of the US, their former mentors?
