Profit-Taking Pushes Stocks Down

I like how whenever the stock market goes down, they always attribute it to "profit taking". People are still making profits on the stock market? I would guess more like people are dumping.

Fridays are especially bad for profit taking….think of it like this…the stock brokers are all ready for the weekend so they sell of to start fresh on Monday. In the process of selling off they get a profit. (the profit might be low, but it’s a profit usually)
