I went with Google Sighteeing submitted by Jaime. Things like Wikipedia, the CIA Factbook, and the News Map are much handier for research, but this is a lot more fun. It's a constantly updated collection of images of various landmarks (from Victoria Falls to Very Large Buddhas) via satellite images from Google Local and Google Earth.
