Its cold, its windy, and its snowing like it did in 1978 here in Massachusetts tonight, and I'm not enjoying it in the least. By the time I finish snowblowing and shovelling, its time to go back and start over again. sad.gif

Could somebody please develop the technology required to control the weather? This is getting old... Seriously. mellow.gif

we'll take some of that snow out here in colorado.we would LOVE it right now (or snow pack is at 60% normal levels, major drought mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif )

I often sleep with my window open, it has been that nice.

I would enjoy such a snowfall where you measure it in feet instead of inches. We just received some ice with a few inches of snow on top here. The largest snowfall I have ever experienced is 14 inches.

The west is hurting for snow. Some lakes and reservoirs could disappear this summer.

Don't feel too bad, GA, we're expecting more than 2 feet here... So, it could always be worse.

Jaime, if I opened my windows at night while I was sleeping I'd freeze my appendages off... We're averaging in temperature at night here somewhere between 0 and 2. ermm.gif If you add in the wind chills, its been along the lines of -15 to -30 every night. I have the heating oil bills to prove it, too... sad.gif

If I could just come up with that billion dollar idea I've been working on, I can winter in the south, and summer here. Of course, by south, I'm referring to Rhode Island... wink2.gif laugh.gif

It has been odd here in Illinois. I live in the south burbs of the City (Chicago). We have had very little snow this year. Friday night was the most for a snow and that was only about 4 inches. But the cold and the wind mix has been terrible. Down in Central and Southern Illinois has had a lot more snow than us. I am really tired of wind chills being below zero. I am too old for this. Jaime and Mike have a room for me??? tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

And to think, I spent the weekend watching surfers 3 miles from here. We've had a heat wave, it's been 50 degrees every day this week!

Saw a pod of orcas breaching the other day, it was fantastic!
