So far it seems to work very well.

Am I correct in assuming that certain states do not yet appear (in both the House and the Senate) because their ballots have not yet been officially finalized?

You might want to make it clear that "bonus" ballots will only appear AFTER you have voted for that particular office on the "regular" ballot. I went to the "bonus ballot" first just to test it out and there were no ballots at all. After I tested the regular ballots, I figured out what I did wrong.

Some, yes. Others are sitting in a file that Jaime built, waiting for me to insert them into the database. smile.gif

Noted, thanks. I'll make the bonus ballot error message indicate that you must vote in at least one race on the regular ballot before anything appears.

Thanks!

I tried to "vote early and often" in our House race for the candidate whose sign has been in our front yard. I didn't find Michigan available as yet...

Hehe... yeah, haven't added all candidates yet. They'll be added soon. smile.gif

It looks good so far, but one the Texas ballot for the house, districts 9 & 11 have only one candidate.. so if someone were to do their bonus ballot on those candidates, it would be a sure win wouldnt it?
Mike
It would seem so, yes. mellow.gif

Check out the last hour or so of yesterday's radio show for some more detailed info on that. smile.gif

That makes sense, and it points out the scandal that there are unopposed Congressional elections in this nation.

The best strategy, I think, would be to "lock in" all unopposed elections as early as possible. I would also probably "lock in" almost all elections with an incumbent, unless the incumbent is VERY unpopular.

No problems, but one question: Once votes are locked for the bonus, can they be unlocked? (I'm assuming not, but couldn't find a note to that effect.)

A couple of initial thoughts;

1) page banner was giving a division by zero error when I launched the bonus ballot page

2) I was able to submit an empty ballot (doesn't hurt anything, I suppose)

More later

Did this happen after you loaded the bonus ballot, but before you had made any choices? I didn't encounter this error.

Thanks! smile.gif

Yes, no choices made (Like Victoria Silverwolf, I was unaware that I needed to vote to see options on the bonus page).
