http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/09/05/attac...h.ap/index.htmlBeing in the business I knew and stated that the air those workers were breathing was contaminated with many toxic substances, especially asbestos. Now, the Bush Admin pressured some health organization to state that the area was safe and posed no long term threat to any workers...and most believed it! That's where I have a hard time sympathizing with those poor folks. To believe your government's word like that?!? Anyways, the argument goes like this: For Bush to allow the toxic truth to come out would be in effect shutting down Wall Street i.e. the global market force. So my question for debate is this:
Do you think Bush was correct and justified when he sacrificed the rescue workers' lives and well-being in order to allow the markets to go on running?
