This past week, former congressman Gerry Studds
passed away due to a blood clot in his lung.

1.)To what extent did Studds pave the way for future congressional folks who are gay to be elected and to inspire others to run for congress?2.)Where does Studds stand in regards to being a great legislator? Please provide specific bills or in counter-arguing, a lack of bills to prove aptitude of being a legislator.3.)To what extent will the 1983 censuring of Studds mar his political legacy and memory?
