Here’s a story from
The Washington Post on the matter.
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15408508/Do you think Limbaugh is for real when saying this? For the moment
Rush Limbaugh
has surpassed
Bill Frist in stupidity and
Ann Coulter in sheer mean spiritedness.
Dr. Limbaugh, strike that, - a blowhard, pompous windbag, first year college dropout, not a doctor - has diagnosed Fox as faking the severeness of his illness from a video, just as Frist- a Cardiologist, not a neurologist - diagnosed Terri Schiavo in the same manner. At least, Frist is a doctor.
This is as mean or meaner than Coulter's suggesting that we rat poison Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.
ESPN got it right in 2003. They fired his grotesque, loud-mouthed, right-wing derriere.

Stations, including
WBAP in Fort Worth, should drop him immediately. I’m going to call and suggest that tomorrow.
Bye, bye Rush, I hope.

Edited to add:
Here's to link the Fox Video.
http://www.bencardin.com/multimedia/video102306Here's an audio of Limbaugh's remarks:

The Limbaugh audio is more than 9 minutes long.
Make what you will of both links.

BTW: I support Rush's freedom of speech. He can say whatever he wants, whenever he wants in private or public. He can argue the point in the coffee shop or on the streets, but now the golden microphone is slimed with vile excrement like words. It’s time to yank it out of his hands. As I've said many times, "freedom of speech does not guarantee a microphone, a podium or air time.”
