I have a size 5 shoe size. They pretty much don't exist. For Christmas I needed a pair of dress shoes for work. I also wanted a pair of sneakers.
I do know that a size 3 in girls sneakers fit me. And I got a pair from one of my kids. Cheaper than womens shoes too. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif
But when it comes to the dress shoe I have a problem. They look like little girls shoes. I looked all over and finally found a pair that is not patent leather.
A size 3 1/2 girls.
I know there are many other important things going on in this world but I just want a womens shoe that looks like a womens shoe and a size 5.
Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

It's always a challenge to find clothing that fits and that is acceptable to your taste. Don't give up hope, though. A quick Internet search found this catalog, which claims to have women's shoes in sizes down to 4 and widths from AAAA to EEEE. Give it a try, or search elsewhere. Good luck.

similiar problem Momof3. My skull is 8 1/4, I have to special order baseball hats because nothing--even ones saying XL or One Size Fits All dont fit on my head. My motorcycle helmet was 2XXL.

I have been looking for undershirts for my daughter since she was about 3 years old. Many kids shirts have embroidery on them without proper backing, and the stiching itched her skin. Apparently, no one else on earth has this need, as kids undershirts...in any size...apparently do not exist.

I also have three camel colored dress-casual shoes, and have found matching belts. However, socks with this color on them again do not seem to exist, even though clearly the shoes are obviously quite plentiful. Can't even find the color in any argyles. I still find lots of new shoes with this same color. Where are the matching socks?

Or a fat head? w00t.gif I keed, I keed.....

Momof3, Zappos.com has tons of shoes all the way down to size 3! I searched size 5 in pumps and got 133 results. I'm sure it must be a royal pain trying to find them in brick/mortar stores, but they are out there. I'm cursed with probably the most common shoe size - 7 - so if I find something I like in a store, they're probably out of my size. mellow.gif

I can't find shoes, period. My feet are two different sizes - one just under 7 1/2 and the other just over an 8. So I usually have one shoe that's slightly loose or one shoe that's fairly tight. I could, of course, buy two pairs of matching shoes in different sizes and wear one from each pair, but that doesn't strike me as being very economical. The only other alternative is to find someone whose feet are the two opposite sizes and hope that they have similar taste...

Have you tried shopping online, Mom? I have the ugliest feet in the world. And they are big. I'm so envious. I've always wanted itty bitty feet. If I had them I wouldn't even wear shoes to cover them up...except in winter. tongue.gif

I don't have trouble finding shoes, but I have to shop online for my husband. He wears 14 wide, or 15 (our kids are doomed). Unfortunately, wide sizes usually stop at 12.

Thank God for the internet! Times were tough before them. He once had only 24 hours between back-to-back TDYs. Unfortunately, his travel pod broke off over the desert on his way home from the first one and all of his clothes and shoes were lost. Fortunately, of course he was wearing his military boots. There was no way to replace them at the mall. I think we were able to find a very ugly pair of sneakers after shopping for five hours...which he used for the next five months. ermm.gif

Edited to add: I found this article with a series of links to small shoe stores for women. You can try some of those sites if Victoria's or Daffy's links don't work out for you. smile.gif
