The new building is planned to be taller than the trade center towers, which briefly stood as the world's tallest at 1,350 feet. Libeskind's tower also would surpass Malaysia's 1,483-foot Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest buildings in the world.

Question: Do you like Libeskind's ideas or what would you rather see built in the WTC area?

I hope to visit the site of the WTC in the next two weeks on an Eastern USA vacation (I leave London on Saturday and start in Boston, so once I've seen it I'll let you know.

Although my gut feel it to leave it or turn it into a memorial park. I think the value of the lives lost should be placed above the commercial value of the land. Maybe a poll of relatives and survivors, if it hasn't already been done, should be carried out to decide?
