Full Version: Are Federal "Real ID's" possible?

There is a so-called "Real ID" effort on-going to make a Federal ID system for us citizens. It is variously being pursued, resisted, so far is neither tested nor technically proven "possible", and is too little debated or studied for my taste. Therefore, I popose for debate:

1. Do you believe a Federal "Real ID" system is possible and not too abusable for the USA?

2. Are you for or against any type ofFederal "Real ID", and if so what kind and why?

3. Under what part of the US Constitution is a Federal "Real ID" system permitted and/or allowed?
