The wife and I are expecting #3. He will be arriving sometime in early september, will have a more concrete date a bit later. We are very excited, though it doesn't look like we'll get our girl, the switch for plumbing is stuck on "boy" evidently.

What's the gender breakdown of your kiddos? I have a 6-yro boy, a 4-yro girl, and a 2nd girl expected to arrive within the month. Give my best to your wife as she enters the final stretch. Heaven knows I'm ready for this all to come to an end. My mother-in-law has been with us the past couple of wks (lovely, just lovely) and will remain for at least another wk before going home. The summer is also coming on hard (desert of So. Cal). You know, the husband's role is pretty tough too!!!

Ethan's 4, Aidan's 3 and Carter will be here in September. Yes, that will be 3 boys total(I make it #4) and the poor wife is just plain out numbered. Can't believe how big they are getting and how fast time is going. Heck, Aidan's doing pre-school this summer, doesn't seem like it already.

Congratulations to you, your wife, and your two sons on the soon-to-arrive new addition to the family! I feel for your wife with all of that testosterone in the house, but I've always said I'd rather have 3 boys than 3 girls!

I doubt I've mentioned it since I haven't been around much, but I am also expecting - currently my due date is my birthday, October 13th, but that will probably be moved up at my next appointment since baby is measuring rather big (Kaia always measured small or exactly on target and she was 2 weeks early and 7 lbs. 4oz, so it's kinda hard to go by those measurements anyway). I am estimating a September 30th delivery date. Kaia cannot wait to be a big sister. She's about to start 1st grade (going on 4th grade, the little smarty pants) and they'll be just a little over 6 yrs apart (she turns 6 at the end of August).

Oh and we are expecting a little boy, too! Do you have any names picked out yet? So far we are thinking maybe Jamil (my hubby's 2nd middle name). It's about the only name we both like. We cannot agree on boy names to save our lives (he's rather partial to things like Apollo and Achilles, whereas I prefer less mythologically-motivated names ). We'd have had no problems with a girl - Elodie Sonora (or reversed) would have been the chosen name.

I'm a little envious...have that bio-clock ticking thing going on and it's hard to accept being finished with the baby-business. They are so adorable! But, with the stress and work of this move I definitely think I'm fini.

Oh....And boys rule! Your wife will be the queen of the house forever. Like I am.

he is a sweet kids but cannot get to sleep to save his life.... GER ( gastric-esophogeal Reflux ) and general cholic ... doc says it should calm in the next month or so as his digestive tract matures.

it is unusual for a breastfed baby ... i can only imagine how he would be with that poison cows milk based formula that they try to get people to feed their babies...
