What do you think is the easiest way to fix the terrorist problem we seem to have here in the US? Some of the terrorist of 9/11 got training here in the states on planes and we also have the Oklahoma City Bombing that was done by an American and a Bronze Star winner from Desert Storm. So how do we start preventing and possibly detering future terrorism?

It would be nearly impossible to catch every terroriston its hands. The only thing we can do is make security better and have the National Terriorst Cotrol Center (NTCC) get more and recent news about whats happening in the foreign couy and rallys. Also dont offer visas to people who look suspicious

I agree with juber3 that all we can do is tighten security and just be extra careful, but I also believe that tightening security in our airports and around out borders will cost a whole lot more money. This means that taxes are going to have to be raised and we as Americans will be the ones to pay up.
Another point that in order to tighten security in our airports, every bag is going to have to be checked which means that customers will have to wait in line much longer than they already have to. The airports must be made to where NO ONE can get past security with anything resembling a weapon. The only problem with this is that the American people love their freedom and I'm not entirely sure that we would give that up.
I also believe that if terrorists want to get into the United States, they will find a way.

This may sound a bit odd but... I think that the security at the air ports should carry mase with them also machine guns. If the alarm beeps and some one just goes by un noticing it, mase them in the face.

Security guards at airports can't carry mace. It could too easily spread to innocent people. I'd be pretty mad if I got maced because some dumbass wasn't paying attention to where they were going and entered an exit. Perhaps they should try other non-lethal weapons - stun guns or that immobilizing foam I saw on the Discovery channel; yeah, that sounds good

I think that airports are only a small part of the problem.
We should start by placing a one year moritorium on all visas. We should use that time to actually think out a long term strategy for protecting our country from terrorists.
Congress is meant to work slowly. When we force it to move fast, mistakes are made. Emotion influences decision, and public opinion dictates policy.
We need a "cool off" period to think.

The immobilization foam is good, but i heard it would be hard to breath. The foam can only be used in enclosed spaces...
