Thinking on national healthcare and really into the complexity of relating it down from federal to state and local levels is surely a complex task. I really don’t want to get into such aspects in this thread really as much as how it would be funded federally if such was the choice to make. In many regards it seems already that we perform taxation for really a social net of protection in some ways that is social security. It by society picks up for those who for whatever reason through life, which in itself in complex, cant protect or provide for themselves anymore. I think already that SS provides a large tax burden on the populous at large, and aggravates those that have to pay more for making more. What I was thinking basically is if the funds and tax laws behind SS could basically be phased into with of course modifications a national health care policy, in which leads me basically into my debate questions.

1) Could SS in time, say five to ten years become a national health care plan?

2) What would then work for or happen to the people that for whatever reasons have to come to rely on SS for survival?

3) Could having national healthcare along with SS become to much of a tax burden on America at large when combined with other government spending such as military?

4) Lastly, even if SS was converted into national healthcare, could the funding actually be adequate for modern healthcare needs of millions without such?
