Full Version: Glad to be here
Hi,
I'm a conservative who is in a tough world, namely the arts. I play in a professional, year-round symphony orchestra and enjoy political conversation if it's intelligent and relatively civil. Hard to come by in an orchestra full of liberals but I have good friends who are and still manage to speak in a kind manner. I love great music, literature, current events... whatever. It's all good, as they say.

Welcome. What instrument do you play? My father is a conductor, my sister plays viola professionally for a symphony, and I spent many years counting the rests in various pieces back in the bass section.
