Healthcare is undoubtedly
the domestic issue of concern. We all are aware that the GOP wants to keep going with the "sick model of America" and that proposed "changes" of theirs are nothing more than a give away to the pharmaceutical companies, not to mention propping up of high priced, low-benefit private plans that provide inferior service compared to public funded health plans. New ideas such as health care accounts are good, though they aren't the answer, as a family's bout with cancer treatment or a lengthy medical illness will quickly drain the account. And when that happens, where does that leave the family and the rest of society?
I am very concerned about this issue and have read up on most of the democratic candidate's position on this issue. Here are what each of the candidate's plans.
Bill Richardson's plan.Barack Obama's planHillary Clinton's healthcare planJoe Biden's health planDennis Kucinich's health planJohn Edwards's plan.Mike Gravel's health planChris Dodd's health planQuestions for debate:
1.)Who has the best/most realistic health plan out there?
2.)What drawbacks do you se in any/all of these plans?
3.)Whose plan is unrealistic or too vague?
