Woman stabs man who wanted to open presents early.

QUOTE
Sometimes you just have to be careful about breaking Christmas traditions, like peaking at a present before Christmas day. At least that's the underlying message from an incident that occurred in Wyoming where a woman was arrested for stabbing her husband after an argument ensued following his opening a Christmas present early.

Misty Johnson, 34, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery after Rock Springs, Wyo. police said she stabbed her husband Shawn Johnson in the chest with a kitchen knife following an argument that began when she accused him of opening a Christmas present early.

Whoa! The woman may be psycho, but I suspect that there was a lot more simmering beneath the surface for her to accuse him of cheating on her.

Maybe I'm naive, but I tend to believe stories that don't have typos or misspellings in them. For example:

QUOTE
...peaking ["peeking"] at a present before Christmas day.

<snip>

But the two-way martial [that's "marital" I think, but maybe not] dispute led off with Shawn's having opened a Christmas present early, according to a Rock Springs, Wyo. police spokesperson.

At any rate, the story does remind me of one of the axioms I read on a Murphy's Law poster: "Never sleep with anybody crazier than yourself." shifty.gif

I generally don't open Christmas presents earlier anyway because it spoils the surprise.
