Even though I've been posting here for quite a while there is one protocol that I never got quite clear on and I thought I'd raise the matter in C & S in case others were also unclear. I know you aren't suppose to post back to back posts right away but is there some sort of 3 day grace period where you can then follow up if no one else has posted? The rules don't appear to address the matter.

You don't have to worry about the old double-posting rule any more. Mike made some changes, and now if posts are made consecutively within a (too) short timeframe they simply merge together, and the thread is bumped up.
