I debated with myself on whether I should post about this on ad.gif but since Mike says it's ok, we can roll. innocent.gif

I am hosting the Death Pool 2008 at my blog, The Gull Reef Club. I'd love it if you'd play. Yeah, it's a bit morbid, but it's also a bit fun. devil.gif

If for some reason you don't want to or can't post your picks to my blog, you may post them here or PM me with them and I will be sure to include yours.

See ya at the Inn! biggrin.gif

I'm participating in this kind of macabre game on another site. I have already made one correct prediction, to my horror, with the recent passing of Maila Nurmi, better known as pioneer television horror hostess and cult movie star Vampira. sad.gif

QUOTE
Hollywood has lost another legend. Maila Nurmi, who became synonymous with her character, Vampira, passed away in her sleep yesterday at the age of 86.

She was born Maila Elizabeth Syrjäniemi on December 21, 1921, in Petsamo, Finland - now Pechenga, Russia. In the 1950s she created the character of Vampira, popular for both films and as a television host.

The game you are hosting asks for only ten names, and the game I am in asked for twenty, so I'll just pick half of them at random. Here goes.

Forrest J. Ackerman
Ray Bardbury
Dick Cheney
Arthur C. Clarke
Queen Elizabeth II
Harlan Ellison
Ursula K. LeGuin
Stephen Hawking
Olivia de Havilland
Gabriel Garcia Marquez
