Amlord once called Dennis Kucinich (Kookcinich) and scubtim calls Mitt Romney “the Glove.”
What are some creative and perhaps descriptive names for any of the candidates who have run for president this cycle?
I’ll start with Rudy Giuliani, who recently dropped out. My name for him is Rudy “Thugiani.”
Let’s try to keep this fun with a minimum of viciousness.

Now that I think about it,
H. Ross Perot sort of fit this description, too.

Barry Obama.
Not mine. I got it from
The Wonkette. His Secret Service codename is "Renegade." Hmm...no political subtext
there.
He's also referred to dismissively as "The Magic Negro." Rush "Oxycontin" Limbaugh dubbed him that. Consider the source.

Barack apparently
went by Barry Obama in high school. And I think Rush got the "Magic Negro" thing from
David Ehrenstein. Then there's "the Obamessiah," I don't remember where that one came from.
I'll be voting for him on Tuesday, though.

I personally don't have any special names for any of the candidates, but I've heard people here call them;
Barack Obama: the black one/ the arab one, Obama Bin laden, Tiger Woods
McCain, that old guy with the white hair
Huckabee (not many make mention of this one): the religious freak
Guliani: That creepy, horrible, nasty mayor from New York
Hillary Clinton: Hillary (Very popular)

Wonkette refers to McCain as "Walnuts", which I think is hilarious (and a variant, I suppose, on "Chipmunk"). I tend not to use nicknames here (at least not in the past few years) as they're probably not all that conducive to civil debate. On my blog, though, I've been referring to Barack Kumbayama (due to his insubstantial, if "feel-good", rhetoric) and Hillel Clinton (due to the fact that she's in the pocket of the Israel lobby). Giuliani I usually described in terms that would not pass the profanity filter here.

I get a good laugh out of the Walnuts nick too, along with the image they always use of him. Wonkette also calls Paul supporters, Paultards.
I don't have any of my own original names for the candidates, try not to get too fond of them.
Being mostly Irish extraction and a supporter of
Barack Obama, I am making Barack an honorary Irishman. He's now Barack O'Bama.

I did a search on Wonkette and this is the reason they call him walnuts....
Walnuts!
