Hi, my name's Joshua and I'm just looking to talk about politics, learn a bit, share my opinions, that sort of thing.

I'm pretty opinionated, I'm not a Republican or a Democrat although I end up voting mostly for Republicans just because I refuse to vote for abortionists which most Democrats tend to be, I support the Constitution Party, and my beliefs on the issues at least can't be criticized as having been adopted from anyone else.

You'll see I guess, but lets just say I lean towards the Democrats on economic issues like the death penalty, immigration, health care, and the Iraq War; and towards the Republicans on moral issues like abortion, homosexual marriage, and embryonic stem cell research. I try to examine all sides of all issues and have my own thoughts and reasonings on why I stand the way I do on any given issue.

I'm more than willing to change my stance on an issue if I see better reasoning, and willing to change my support for a politician as well regardless of party if I realize they're better on the issues and in their character than I'd thought.

Welcome abord. I'm still here for the same reasons as you. There is intelligent life here!
