First- thanks to all, it is appreciated- but Eyore- we are having incredibly warm (for this time of year) weather- all the snow is melting like crazy!

Has made for some wet MC riding- let me tell you- and very slick- funny story is- I went for a big ride this AM, and I fell twice walking to and from the bike- none on the bike

Thanks folks - my wife was very, very sick with a cold, but my kids were beside themselves, all day with "wishing Papa happy birthday"- and we made a cake- my little fella wrapped up all his favorite toys to give to me for my birthday (he wanted papa to have the best birthday ever- too cute!) - my daughter made me a card, and they both gave lots of hugs and love to Papa, making it my best B-day ever. My wife is still very sick, so, after making sure she was sleeping comfortably yesterday after some dosing of sudafed and cough syrup, I went for a 4 hour ride- my wife slept the whole time, so no claims of desertion in her hour(s) of need now ladies!

The kids were at the ex-s on Saturday as well, and usually I work on Saturdays- so for the first time in a very, very long time, I am thinking, like, oh, 7 years + (the year my daughter was born) I had some totally free "me" time.

So all in all, great way to celebrate my B-day, I just wish my wife hadn't gotten such a horrible cold!

Glad you got some personal time. I love family time, but freedom is a beautiful thing too.
