It was just last week that the Republican candidate abandoned his bid for president. Already, his Iowa campaign director, Eric Woolson, finds his office in West Des Moines cluttered with a big stack of T-shirts bearing "Huckabee for President" logos.

"So, to make sure we find good homes for all those shirts in short order — and my office space gets back to normal — we're having a blowout sale this week only," Woolson said Thursday in an e-mail to political reporters.

"All Huckabee for President T-shirts in my office are now just $5 plus $1 for postage and handling. (You can't even buy two gallons of gasoline for that price)," Woolson wrote.

Below is a website to order the shirts:

Questions for Debate:

Where would/should the money go for a sale such as this?

I think legally the money goes back to the Huckabee campaign and can be used for a variety of political purposes. Retiring any debts, funding any new campaigns in the future for Huckabee or donated to other campaigns/PACs or the Republican Party. It's not unusual for these old campaign items to become collectors' items at some point, people are dealing them on E-Bay like they do baseball cards, stamps and coins. Heck, I even have a bottle of "W" catsup. laugh.gif
