Over the last couple of weeks numerous news and Internet outlets have covered the controversial YouTube videos of Rev. Wright and the association with Senator Obama. As a result national polls have shown a sharp drop off of independent voter support for Senator Obama.

If news reports along with national polls show Obamas continued decline in support this could have a direct impact on super delegates position on who will be nominated.

With the investment of support from the key block vote of the African American community for Senator Obama the Democratic Party is almost painted into a corner to support Obama's nomination if he is leading even if his support drops off drastically in upcoming state races and national polls.

Questions for debate:

Is the Rev. Wright controversy over or nearly over and have no effect on Obama's nomination?

Will super delegates be forced to nominate Senator Clinton if national polls and upcoming state races show drastic loss of support for Senator Obama?

What effect will the nomination of Senator Clinton have on the Afro American voter/Democratic Party should the super delegates decide the race?

From quick’s thread.

1) Does this speech end the Rev Wright issue? Should it end the Rev Wright issue?

The first question in this thread and in quick’s thread and this one are almost identical. The other two questions have probably been answered on the other thread as well. For, example, Wertz has posted extensively, on the other thread, about the implications for the Democratic primary and general election.

If anyone wants to know what I think, follow the link to the other thread. I’m not going to rehash this crap.

I haven't read the other thread nor do I plan to. My debate questions are specific for the thread topic. I think a discussion on my questions are profound and could range from assassination of a Democratic nominee by the Democratic Party to destruction of the party and beyond. So, no one but you should mind to debate such questions.
