Just Leave me Alone!
At a fundraiser in San Fransisco, Senator Obama is quoted to have said when describing his struggles appealing to working-class voters that "It's not surprising that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment."

This points to a pro-trade sentiment on by Obama. He sent out mailers in Ohio that painted HRC as pro-NAFTA and said that "Only Barack Obama consistently opposed NAFTA" . Yet we all know about the Obama aid memo saying that his anti-trade stand on the trail was "more reflective of political maneuvering than policy." I tried the BHO campaign site, but trade isn't listed under the issues section.

Questions for Debate: Would free-traders have much to worry about if Barack Obama is elected President? Would labor unions have a much to cheer about?
