I'm going to go with ConservPat this year. He's had one of the most interesting participation arcs here over the past five (!) years or so, both maturing in terms of debating style and undergoing an interesting political evolution to become a fairly formidable libertarian advocate (I hope that doesn't sound too condescending). It'd be interesting to see if he's as formidable in person. He has a pretty interesting background, as well, having lived in a couple of the better states in the union (though not yet the best ). Plus, he has a decent looking ear.

It is usually our "heavy hitters" NT and Wertz I would like to meet, but, after the last year or so of exchanging PMs with BOF- I will nominate BOF this year.

I was hoping I was ACTUALLY going to get to meet Mrs P this year, thinking her hubby was going to get stationed here in the greatland, but no go. I almost met Artemise once- but haven't heard from her in ages now- so I have never even met one AD'er in person- the problem with living so remote from others.

So, BOF gets my vote!

Hell pretty much most of AD, whether I agree with them or not. Maybe we should pick the central most part of America and have a yearly AD retreat. We'll form a PAC and write off our expenses.

I agree that Mrs. P rocks, and I would love to meet her, especially since we have a lot in common.

But for the sake of mixing it up a bit, I will nominate Victoria Silverwolf. I have a distinct idea in my mind of what she looks like. It's my own creation based on reading her posts over the years. It would be interesting to see how she compares to the image I've created.

I'm just waiting to accidentally bump into DaynaSaGR or Carlitoswhey since we're in the same city. Who knows... we've probably seen one another on the El and not known... I was the absurdly tall one... yep, that was me.

Droop has already drunk me under the table with damn Long Islands. Been there, done that, would do it again, and highly recommend you add this to your summer vacation plans.

However, I think a fine wine would go with Victoria Silverwolf for an early afternoon of insightful perspective. And with my luck, she'd be a beer person, because once I start thinking I understand where she's coming from, or guessing what her perspective would be, my first attempt at assumption is usually wrong and I can't figure out why. My curious nature wants to know.
