Wertz
Dontreadonme. As we have seen, his opinions and positions are largely shaped by a knowledge of history, practical, first-hand experience, and sound judgment - all of which are sorely lacking in just about every elected official I can think of. And where prejudice enters into his views (as it does into all our views), his seems to be informed by the political philosophy that gave rise to the radical experiment that produced the Constitution of the United States, tempered by the social evolution that has kept our idealism - and our respect for the individual - alive.

If nothing else, we need another skydiving official to wipe the image of George H.W. Bush from my mind.

I nominate Ted. A true conservative who isn't afraid to tick off a liberal or two or ten in this forum. Both of those qualities make him qualified to run for office. He's got my vote. thumbsup.gif

In honor of women all around the world, I nominate Mrs. P to be the president of us.gif and/or ad.gif

Because he's both an Intelligent Brotha and youth must be served, I'd like to see Turnea elected to office.

'nuff said. thumbsup.gif
BaphometsAdvocate
I vote for ME, BaphometsAdvocate because once I am Governor of New York I vow to:

Abolish Connecticut and use their dead to fill the Long Island Sound for more parking
Attack Africa (yes the continent) to rid the world of weird diseases
Remove the jury system from California (they clearly can't handle it)
Institute a citizen flat tax. 20%. Done. No questions, no discussion, no loopholes. How much did you make over 30K? Gimmie 20%.
Abolish the NEA, Department of Education, Department of Energy, FDA and FCC. (Especially the FCC.)

Come on! We didn't back down when the Germans attacked Pearl Harbor did we? NO!!!! Who's with me?

Victoria Silverwolf
This year I'll go with AuthorMusician to add a little spice to the halls of power.

Can I use my vote against Baphomet's Advocate's self-nomination? laugh.gif (Although, abolishing Connecticut sounded VERY tempting)

No?

Okay then, I vote for Wertz. Even in this thread, it's obvious that he can deliver a well-thought, rational, precise and exceptionally delivered opinion that would leave the educated impressed, and the clueless nodding in agreement.
