Mrs Pigpen I've enjoyed many of her topics

Because he always gets my attention, I have to say Ted.

Mrs Pigpen's topics are always excellent, fair and well thought out. You're not going to just post anything in her threads you have to bone up on the topic first

Nebraska has put forth some compelling topics.

All of the above are good choices, but I'm going to add BoF to the mix. Most of his threads are extremely timely and some of them produce a surprising range - and number - of responses on more oblique stories and issues (like the To Catch a Predator and Sheriff Joe Arpaio threads). He also comes up with some pretty good Casual Conversations.
