Since I have started posting a lot more I have noticed that, while perusing different threads, I am suddenly logged out of my ad.gif account and marked as a guest. It often happens while I am in the middle of a post that requires research, thought, and loads of random babbling mrsparkle.gif

For some reason, if I am logged out when I try to REPLY to a post, it notifies me and allows me to log in (sending me directly to the editing interface). However, when I am logged out mid reply it tells me only after I SEND it and tells me I am not allowed to post. I am, of course, able to copy the response, but I have to navigate all the way back to the thread in order to re-post it.

So here it is:

Do I need to set port triggering for ad.gif in order to not log out? If so, which port?

Also, is it possible to make it so that, once I re-log after attempting to submit a post, that it could go ahead and submit for me. I mean, darnitall, I proved I wasn't a guest mrsparkle.gif

Mike is definitely the one to answer this question, but the only issue I've had that is close to yours, is every day or two, I have to log back in. My information is still stored, but AD logs me out. I'm pretty sure my Firefox simply clears my cache and cookies, so that would be the first thing I would check.

Thanks DTOM, I'll scope out firefox first thing. I do use the NOSCRIPT add-on for Firefox but have americasdebate.com and americasdebate.net set to bypass the protection. It's a good idea to look into my other toys I have running.

Hmm...we need an AmericasDebate greasemonkey script!!!
