I'm looking for a post of mine from about 2 or 3 months ago, but I don't remember the forum I posted it in unfortunately.

I tried using google search, to search AD for particular keywords and tried the built in search browser on the site.

The post was short but it had a link I need to get back that I forgot to bookmark. What would really help is if there is a way to search for the last 100 post Ive done. is there anyway I can search through more than my last 10 post, even if its on google? Or any other suggestions that anyone has? I remember only a few key words I used in that post. Unfortunately they are words like "Iraq" and "money" that bring up far too many search results from different posters.

I'm creating a new forum and I need this link pretty badly.

Have you tried the advanced search options page (link)?

You can add a few restrictions to make it likely that you will find your post. Put in your keywords, put your name in the Filter by Member Name box and check the Match Exact Name checkbox, change the Search posts from... dropdown to 180 days and choose the Newer radio button, and change the Result Type option to Show results as posts. Perform the search, and you should get a listing of posts you have made in the last six months that match the keywords you have specified.

Give it a shot.

Also, if you just want a chronological list of all your posts (without keyword filtering) you can go into your profile page and right-click on your name (or right-click on your name at the top of the profile sidebar next to any of your posts) and select "Find member posts". That will open an unfiltered list of every post you've made since you joined the site, from most recent to earliest.

Glad to hear. thumbsup.gif

The next upgrade will have a completely reworked search, from the ground up. It will be much faster, more efficient, and easier to use. Hopefully it will also let us search for 3-letter terms/words, too! If it doesn't, Logophage has sent me a link to a viable option that would make searching much faster and easier.

This new upgrade is going to be great. I'll hopefully get to see a preview of it within a week or so, and I'll report back on the coolest of the new features that will impact us here.
