This is just my personal opinion, everyone should feel free to express theirs on this topic. When talking about the formation of a Government, everyone always talks about great minds establishing systems as simple as a tyranny, or as complex as the Government that we in the U.S. live under today. They say that the process of forming these Governments always has complexity to them, because one has to take into account one's motives and reasons for establishing the Government that they do. However, it is my personal opinion that in fact, establishing a Government is not at all hard or complex. Due to time, it is inevitable that a Government will be formed amongst of society of humans and/or animals. We in fact, establish Governments daily without even realizing it. If you have any questions as to this theory, please let me know, and I will answer them most willingly.

Welcome to the forum, humongous legume.
Do you have a question for us to debate? It would be a good idea to state your premise, and then pose a question for the forum to debate. As it is, your post is a little unclear as to the specific topic.
Thank you,

Ok, we've got clarification. Please debate the following proposition:
QUOTE
Government is, in fact, not hard to establish, and that [it] can be quite successful after being set up by any person, anywhere, anytime.
Do you agree with this premise or not? Why or why not? (Please submit an essay with no more than 1,000 words. Be sure to cite at least three sources, one of which must be a primary source...woah, got carried away there...maybe I should of become a teacher

)

It depends how you define government. If you mean rules of conduct, then yes, government are formed easily. If you mean that one person has power over another, then they are also formed often, but not often willingly.
Government is a structure for creating "rules of society" and government is given the tools to enforce those rules.
Governments, by the way, usually have no interest in giving the masses any say in the process of governing. This keeps the power in a smaller group, which is favorable to the smaller group. Our government is developing this tendency.

Government is an organization that has a monopoly over the use of physical force, or the threat of physical force. Governments are therefore quite easy to establish given a sufficient preponderance of force, i.e. an invading army. Whether it'll be a good government is another matter, and also there's the question of good from whose PoV.

You're absolutely right that when government is defined under these terms it's easy to create one. However, no matter what specifications you name for a government, even the most basic monarchy, tyranny, or dictatorship can fit the description. And, neither of these types of government are hard to establish.

Well then, how do you propose that we define a government. I would say that both of these make reasonable definitions. After all, there have been a wide variety of governments over the past four or five millenei. Things like constitutions and supreme courts aren't common to all of them or even all of the succesful ones. I think, however, that what you're saying is that governments are easily formed among small groups of people. The visionaries (and the attendant beaurcrats) pop up when you're trying to create a government which will be acceptable to 50,000,000 people, along with their neighbours and decendents for a period of time theoretically reaching on into infinity (correct me if I'm wrong but I've never heard of a government which actually plans in advance for its own disintegration.)

A government is simply an establishment that holds power and also delegates it to others, or for that matter, doesn't delegate it.
