I think everything will remain about the same. I think the elephants will still control the House give or take a few and I don't think there will be much change in the donkey-controlled Senate.

I actually am hoping this will be the case. I really don't want to have an all republican congress with Bush in the White House. The idea of it scares me.

If the republicans do take complete control, I predict the panic politics of things like the Patriot Act and the Department of Homeland Defense will become more prevalent. The republicans will spend money on defense like sailors arriving in port, but will be too wimpy to cut other social-garbage spending. Thus, our national debt will go through the roof.

I've writing in my vote for Kodos straight across the ballot.

With Torricelli out, it's sure going to be interesting to see how it all pans out.
