In an effort to curtail the number of continued posts and private messages that we receive regarding moderation activities, we have decided to make the strike data available to all members.

This will show that, when necessary, action is taken.

Of course, communications between the staff and the general membership related to conflict resolution will not be made available.

Everyone must realize, however, that many situations are rectified via Personal Messenger, and that not every situation warrants a strike.

The majority of our disciplinary action is handled in this fashion, and discretion is exercised before strikes are issued. All but the most serious infractions involve a PM discussion prior to the issuing of any strikes.

At this time we would also like to encourage members to use the "Report this post" feature found at the bottom right hand corner of each post. While we make our best efforts as a team to read every thread on the forum, there are certainly threads that have slipped and will slip through the cracks.

Without continuous member involvement in resolving conflicts, the quality of debate here suffers.

Reporting a post takes less than a minute, and is completely painless; We continue to encourage everyone to help improve the quality of the debate.
