Is anyone upset about the Sheriff in California's commets about the girls being rapped?
Personally I assumed they were and when he said they were it just went over my head.
That guy sounds like my kind of cop.
He said "Nobody better pull a gun on my deputies if you want to live, they are trained to kill."
Gotta love the old time sheriffs from the west.

I've been trying to find a transcript. I must have missed it when I walked to the store.
If anyone finds them, send them on over, or post a link.

Kern County Sheriff Carl Sparks said he was certain Ratliff was just minutes away from killing the girls.
"He was hunting for a place to kill 'em and bury 'em," Sparks said on CNN's Larry King Live program. He said the girls had been raped.
Ratliff was accused of raping his 19-year-old stepdaughter last year, and a warrant for his arrest on five counts of sexual assault was issued in October 2001, three months after he was paroled, but he was never apprehended.

I think this world has gone to hell. especially out west. What the Hell is wrong with these people. How do these people continue to be able to rape and kill when they have priors. why aren't they in jail and kept there.

Oh come on now we cant blame the west... this kind of stuff happens all over America, just so happens the west is Media Crazy.
But good news on that front, what they call the "AMBER" alert has been put into law here in california. This is a real system that can really save lives...think the California Legislation passing a law that saves human lives, not the life of some endangered frog or mushroom.
Its not perfect but it is a really effective system.
Too bad our nut-case govenor is trying to take credit for it.
